First came the Ice Bucket Challenge, then the Running Man Challenge, and the Cheerio Challenge, and now the #MannequinChallenge is taking over the internet. The #MannequinChallenge is pretty easy, all you have to do is stand completely still, play Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd in the background, and have somebody record and post the video on to social media. The more creative you get, the more fun the challenge is.
For your enjoyment, I’ve compiled all of the #MannequinChallenges that have been uploaded from SMU organizations. Which group do you think wins the most creative?
SMU Football
As they say “You KNOW #PonyUpTempo had to hit the #MannequinChallenge.” The football team gets major props for cramming the whole team and staff into the locker room for this video.
SMU Women’s Soccer
Undoubtedly on their way to or home from a game, the women’s soccer team decided to have a little fun with the #MannequinChallenge. (See if you catch the girl hiding in the overhead compartment!)
SMU Ballroom
This one is pretty impressive. SMU Ballroom gets major props for standing still for so long, as the videographer walks all over one of the Dedman rec center’s studios.
