A good movie night always entails an endless array of snacks, comfy PJ’s, andĀ a quality throwback movie, thinkĀ Legally Blonde, Clueless,Ā andĀ Princess Diaries.Ā But as much as we love our classic girl’s night movie list, here are someĀ underrated movies that are worth a watch the next time movie night comes calling!

Rom-Com

1. Chasing Liberty

Mandy Moore as the president’s daughterĀ and undercover secret service agent, Matthew Goode–say no more!

2. Drive Me Crazy

This classic tale of warring neighboring teens learning to love eachother is not the first 90s rom-com to come to mind, but it definitely should.

3. Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist

A great soundtrack, a cute romance and a night time adventure across NYC.Ā What more could we ask for?

Childhood Favorites

1. Wish Upon a Star

90s Disney movies are always the move, and this film features a young Katherine Heigl plus the classic sister sibling shenangians–but taken to a whole new level.

2. My Date With the President’s Daughter

Again, another 90s Disney, but this time with Will Friedle, aka Eric fromĀ Boy Meets World,Ā so get ready to laugh!

3. It Takes Two

Mary-Kate and Ashley in aĀ Parent-Trap-esque film sans the whole seperating of twins at birth dilemma.

4. Ice Princess

Not that underrated but often forgetten, so I felt like this Michelle Trachtenberg classic should be added to the list.

Satire

1. Saved!

This movie falls under the radar, but it is definitely worth the watch partly due to its star-studded cast: Mandy Moore, Macaulay CulkinĀ and Jena Malone.

2. Rushmore

One of Wes Anderson’s first and most successful films, which centers around eccentric teen, Max Fisher (Jason Schwartzman) and his love for an elementary school teacher, Rosemary Cross (Olivia Williams).
