If you have yet to see Beyoncé’s new video to her recently leaked single “7/11” you need to watch it because it’s amazing. And, if you have seen it, let’s just take a moment of silence to appreciate the brilliance that is Beyoncé. This video captures a bunch of women just having a blast while dancing to a hot beat—something all of us who have ever had a “girls only” night can relate to. However, this video took me beyond the memories of any “girls only” get together. It made me think about life here at Smith. Most days here are comparable to this video especially Fridays and Saturdays. So, here are 10 moments Beyonce’s new “7/11” video portrayed a weekend at Smith College.
1. It’s Friday night and you don’t want to leave the house, but you do want to get up and dance, so you crank up the tunes and start jamming in your underwear
2. Your friends hear the bumping music so they come up and join you
3. And then you all get pumped, so you start to get ready to go out
