How did you get interested in being a DJ?
I love listening to and sharing new music, so becoming a DJ is something I’ve always wanted to do. I just officially graduated from an intern to a DJ this semester so I’m really excited!!
How many Smith DJs are there?
There are currently 6 WOZQ Party DJs.
What is your favorite music genre?
I mostly listen to hip-hop/any female MC’s, but I also listen to a lot of slower, chill music.
What’s your favorite song to listen to?
As of like two days ago: Nicki Minaj’s “I Endorse These Strippers.”
What are some of your favorite artists to play?
I’m a big fan of Danny Brown, Yung Thug, Gangsta Boo, and obviously anything Nicki.
Is being a DJ something you want to continue to pursue in the future?
Well, I’m planning on becoming Rihanna’s personal assistant, but if that doesn’t work out then I guess I have DJing to fall back on.
What are some of your other interests?
I’m a poet. I’m really into candy, turtles and things that are pink.
