My obsession for makeup hasn’t stopped since I came to college; however, shopping at Sephora for makeup on a college budget can be kind of difficult. For those looking for a little way to save money (while still buying makeup), here are some great products from the drugstore!

1. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ($6.99)

The Maybelline Fit Me concealer is the only concealer I use from the drugstore consistently. There are such a wide range of colors to choose from and they blend beautifully!

2. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation ($7.99)

The Maybelline Fit Me range is one of my favorites, clearly. I’ve recently started wearing foundation and this is one of my favorites! The Fit Me range is a really nice option at the drugstore because of the affordability, color range, and there are various formulas for different skin types. This range is definitely something to check out.

3. Real Techniques Brushes (Prices Vary, $6-10 for single brushes)

You can’t apply makeup without brushes, so a cheaper, but still high-quality option, are the Real Techniques brushes. They’re soft and blend very well! Although you might not be able to find them in all drugstores, they can be found on Amazon (and the brush sets are a great thing to put on your Christmas list).

4. Milani Powder Blush ($7.99)

There are so many blushes to choose from at the drugstore, but one great option are the Milani Powder Blushes (Milani is also famous for their baked blushes). These blushes are pigmented, matte, and blendable.

5. Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows (Trio – $2.99)

Wet N Wild can be a hit or miss brand, but their products are very affordable. Their eyeshadow trios are some that I use all of the time. They aren’t patchy, but instead are creamy, blendable, and pigmented, which is not something you’d expect from such an affordable product.

6. L’Oreal Voluminous Superstar Liquid Eyeliner ($9.99)

I definitely don’t wear liquid eyeliner on a daily basis, but if I did, it would be this liner. As a beginner, having a felt-tip pen felt easier for me to control and the pigmentation is nice as well.

7. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara ($8.99)

As you can probably tell by now, Maybelline is one of my favorite brands at the drugstore, especially their mascaras. One of my favorites now is the Lash Sensational Mascara. It gives my lashes length and volume without making them look clumpy.

8. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ($4.99)

To finish off my makeup, I typically use a setting powder. The Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in translucent is one of my favorites! It takes away shine and doesn’t leave your makeup looking too cakey.

9. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick ($6.99)

There are so many lip products to choose from the drugstore. The Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks (specifically the color “Nude Delight”) are creamy, pigmented, and moisturizing.

10. Nyx Butter Gloss ($4.99)

Last but not least are the Nyx Butter Glosses. These are beautiful, and affordable, lip glosses from the drugstore that are pigmented and smooth. There are also a wide range of colors to choose from. Another plus is that they aren’t sticky, which is something that’s very important in my book.
