Let’s be real. We’ve all smoked weed. Okay not all of us, but I am positive that everyone at least knows someone who has. I didn’t start to like smoking weed until the summer after my senior year of high school. Now I smoke all the time, almost daily. To me weed is not a harmful substance at all. For example, I smoke before one of my classes every time I have it because it makes it easier to focus and think deeply about the topic of discussion. I can make conclusions about topics easier and I share my input more freely. If you don’t like smoking that’s totally cool too, but don’t judge me for liking it.
But enough about me, the real purpose of this article is to share a shortened version of a playlist I always listen to while stoned. The real playlist is called “smoke break”, and it has 18 followers on Spotify (my favorite personal accomplishments to date)! Enjoy, if you want to follow the playlist it’s titled “Her Campus PLaylist”!

1. way back- Travi$ Scott
Travi$ Scott dropped his sophomore album and it was unreal. The beginning drop is so good, always makes me wanna dance.
2. Black Beatles- Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane
Rae Sremmurd is underrated in my opinion, because this song is a banger. “That girl is a real crowd pleasure”
3. Girls @- Joey Purp (ft. Chance the Rapper)
One of my friends showed me this song a couple weeks ago and I’ve been obsessed every since. Shoutout to the girls wearing reading glasses getttin’ shook in the club
4. Drive Slow- Kanye West
Classic Kanye, if you’re ever smoking with boys and manage to get the aux this is always a crowd pleasure.
5. 100- The Game, Drake
Everything about this song is perfect. The beat is crazy good.
6. Fashion Killa- A$AP Rocky
This sometimes can be a white girl song, but I will never hit skip when it comes on.
7. Play No Games- Big Sean
The opening verse is savage as f*** and Big Sean is underrated. His relationship with Jhene Aiko is perfect too.
8. Movements- Pham
It’s not really a rap song, but something about it hits with me every time I listen. “That body’s a blessing girl”
9. Super Rich Kids- Frank Ocean
I wasn’t a huge fan of his most recent album, but this is one of my all time favorites. “Super Rich Kids with nothing but fake friends” Shoutout to everyone I was “friends” with in high school.
10. Too Good- Drake, Rihanna
Drake and Rihanna are arguably the two most perfect people on the planet and now they are dating. This song reminds every girl that you’re WAY too good for that guy who treats you wrong.
11. Needed Me- Rihanna
This song needs to be played immediately after “Too Good” because this reminds you how much of a bad bitch you are.
12. Smoke Break- Chance the Rapper, Future
It’s been a long week and this song reminds you that you deserve a smoke break.
13. Come Thru- Drake
Nothing Was The Same is my favorite Drake album and this is possibly one of my favorite Drake songs ever
14. Housewives- Bas
Revenge of the Dreamers II is filled with great songs, this happens to be my favorite. “You just talking the most like housewives”
15. Canal St.- A$AP Rocky, Bones
This is for when you smoke by yourself and it’s been a really hard day. “My life is like a movie, they should film me through it”
16. Probation- Felly
The opening verse “I’m on probation I can’t smoke too much” is hilarious. I found this song on SoundCloud one day and thought it was great.
17. Jungle- Drake
All-time favorite song by Drake, I listen to this everyday.
18. Break the Law- Mac Miller
Mac Miller has some of the best verses lyrically (his newest album is really good by the way). The lyric “Ridin’ through the city blowing smoke out the window” reminds me of my friends from home and everyday this summer.

19. Summer Friends- Chance the Rapper
Skip ahead about :52 seconds and then listen to the first verse. Song of the summer probably.
20. The Way- Kehlani, Chance the Rapper
Ever smoked with a boy you really liked? This song is the one to play, it has a slow chill vibe, but Chance’s verse is unbelieveable.
21. No Role Modelz- J.Cole
I listened to this album on repeat for 3 months in high school, I bought the CD, I have a J. Cole sticker on my water bottle. Basically I love him & this song.
22. I Love Kanye- Kanye West
For the true Kanye fan. I love you like Kanye loves Kanye.

“Mr. Pistol popper, Flacko locked and loaded, life’s a bitch” A$AP never fails to impress.
24. Chill Bill REMIX- Rob $tone
This was another song of the summer, I prefer the remix to the original.
25. pick up the phone- Travi$ Scott, Young Thug
Another song of the summer, probably the most popular song off of “Birds in The Trap Sing McKnight”
