HC: How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

BS: I would say that I’m nice, funny, and easy going!

HC: Why did you choose SMC?

BS: I chose SMC for a variety of reasons. Being a lover of VT, I knew when I was transferring I wanted to go somewhere that would constantly inspire me but also challenge me. SMC was the perfect balance between both. With the added bonus of skiing at Smuggs for most of my life, I knew I would have an easier time adjusting to a new community having been immersed in it before. SMC has been a home away from home and I could not imagine going anywhere else.

HC:What are you involved in on campus?

BS:Here on campus I’ve been a part of the Orchestra, as well as an Orientation Leader, a POW Leader, a Conversation Partner, a volunteer with the MOVE Office, and a member of Her Campus. Being in my Senior year I want to continue to attend more events and programs sponsored by the listed clubs above. SMC has so much to offer and I can’t wait to see what else I can be a part of!

HC: What are your favorite things to do off campus?

BS: Burlington is such an amazing place to go to school and hanging off campus is one of my favorite things to do. If I’m not scouring the racks at thrift stores, I’m either going to the waterfront to catch a sunset, grabbing a brew at one of my favorite breweries, getting a bite to eat, or just enjoying the area. With all that said, my all time favorite thing to do off campus is to go to the local markets on the weekend. Now that school is in full swing it’s a little harder but the Artist’s Market on Church Street as well as the Burlington Farmers Market are always a  great way to relax and enjoy the city!

HC: If you had to get a funny tattoo what would it be?

BS: If I had to get a funny tattoo I would either get a bicycle or a pair of cutlery, like a fork and knife. I would want the bike to be super old and the silverware to be really simplistic or crazy detailed.

HC: What’s your favorite alliot meal?

BS: I’m not sure if this counts as a meal but when alliot does Thanksgiving Dinner, I feast.

HC: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

BS: If I had the option to go anywhere in the world I would want to go back to Iceland so that I could do more exploring!!
