Let’s be honest, we all try as hard as we can to stay focused on our schoolwork 24/7, but sometimes we just need a little break. That’s where Netflix comes in. You start with one, maybe two episodes, but before you know it it’s a few hours later and no work has gotten done. It happens to the best of us. If you’re going to spend a few precious hours of your day indulging in Netflix, you should use them well. Here are a few of my favorite Netflix originals that you should seriously consider watching (that is, if you haven’t already).

Love
Following Gus and Mickey’s completely dysfunctional love story will leave you feeling totally frustrated – yet somehow unable to stop watching. It’ll leave you with mixed feelings about both characters, but you’ll be rooting for them to end up together the whole time.
2. Black Mirror
When you first start watching this science fiction anthology, you’ll have no idea what you’re in for. Actually, no matter how many episodes you watch, you’ll never really know. Every plot twist will leave you either completely confused, surprised, disturbed, or a mixture of all three. Some episodes aren’t for the faint of heart, but if you’re into darker humor or dystopian themes, this is the show for you.
3. Master of None
Created and starring Parks and Rec’s Aziz Ansari, this comedy follows Dev, a young amateur actor struggling to make a name for himself in New York City. The show itself recounts some of Ansari’s own personal experiences and his character Dev’s humorous pursuit of love.
4. Grace and Frankie
I was a little late to the party with this one and only started watching it a few weeks ago, but despite its mixed reviews, I found it to be funny and entertaining. This show centers around Grace and Frankie, who are complete opposites personality wise, but manage to form a close friendship after their husbands leave them for each other. There are many heartwarming moments throughout the series and just as many laughs.
5. GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling)
This series portrays a group of misfits (mostly out of work hollywood actresses) in their unexpected journey into the world of female wrestling. The (often humorous) episodes follow the challenges they face in their determination to make it to the top. Each character had their own story to tell, making this a fun and interesting series to watch.
Hopefully this gives you a few ideas on what to watch next on Netflix. Happy binging-watching!
