Vampire Weekend – Mitsubishi Macchiato/TBD

It’s been 5 years since Vampire Weekend released an album and fans have been anticipating their fourth studio album for over a year now. Little has been said about when exactly we can expect the album, but lead singer Ezra Koenig dropped some hints in an Instagram post in March of 2017 that assured the album is definitely on its way. But when will it be released? Unfortunately, there have been no official statements, but we can continue to pray it will be before the year is over.

Release Date: TBD.

LANY – Malibu Nights

It was only a year ago that LANY released their first self-titled album and captivated the world with their amazing rhythms and pop ballads. So it came as a surprise to many fans when they said their second album would be released this fall. But after going through a rough breakup, lead singer Paul Jason Klein was inspired to write the whole album in just 2 weeks. They have stunned audiences with the release of 3 singles so far with “Thru These Tears,” “I Don’t Wanna Love You Anymore” and “Thick and Thin” (my personal favorite). I’m so excited for this album and I know many other people are too

Release Date: October 5, 2018.

Hippo Campus – Bambi

Another band that we are blessed to receive a new album from so quickly. Their first album “Landmark” was nothing short of amazing, so I’m sure their second won’t disappoint. They have given us two singles so far: “Passenger” and “Bambi,” which have both been pretty different from their past style, ushering in a new era of Hippo Campus. Not only that, but they are going on tour and will be in St. Louis on October 9th, so if you like them, you should definitely check out their new music and go to the show.

Release Date: September 28, 2018.

Tokyo Police Club – TPC

Tokyo Police Club’s new album in October only adds to our excitement this fall! The band has released a new album every year for the past 2 years and are thankfully continuing the streak this year with the release of “TPC” on October 5th. The four singles released so far have only added to the excitement. This will be a good one for sure!

Release Date: October 5, 2018.

The 1975 – A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

After a lot of teasing, The 1975 have finally set a date for their much-anticipated third album. The band has been hard at work recording not only one but two new records that will be released this fall and next spring. Now that we have an official date, we can get extra excited because we can listen to “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships” sooner than fans originally thought.  Out of all the singles released so far, “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” has got to be my favorite, probably because of the adorable music video that accompanies it. The 1975 invited some fans to sing and dance in the music video,  showcasing the band’s continued appreciation and love of their fans. November 30th can’t come soon enough!

Release Date: November 30, 2018.
