This Week’s Style

 Claire HuiBonHoa

Hometown: Hong Kong, China
Major: English and Philosophy
Class Year: 2015

“The shirt is Ralph Lauren, and so is the belt. The bag is Il Bisonte and the jeans are UNIQLO. And I got these boots at a small boutique in Hong Kong.”

How would you describe your day-to-day style?
I’d call it preppy, simplistic and minimalist. It’s not overly feminine and I usually prefer darks and solids.

What do you think of Skidmore’s style on campus?
I love that people here are willing to be different. I’m so used to people in big cities only wearing the biggest brands, so I love that students here just have great taste and style.

What’s the one staple piece in your wardrobe?
I guess it would have to be a toss up between my leather boots and my wooly Ralph Lauren jacket just cause its so comfortable and easy to dress up.
