Her Campus Profile October 11, 2017

Name: Eli Park

Major: Finance/Economics

Year: Senior

Hometown: Wilmington, VT

Her Campus: How did you find SJU?

Eli Park: I have family in the area, and I wanted to experience living near a city

HC: What are you involved in on campus?

EP: I am in the Co-op Program, Vice President of Pi Kappa Phi, and a part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society.

HC: Favorite memory at SJU?

EP: It has to be running around and snowboarding down the streets during the big storm we got my Sophomore year, not much can beat that. However, that barley beat out weekend campion breakfast Freshman year where we would get a table with the whole squad at it, and just hang out and eat (hopefully tots) for hours and just catch up on what everyone did over the weekend.

HC: Favorite place to study?

EP: Doyle Banquet Hall is pretty sweet when the library gets too packed. It’s usually pretty empty plus you can use the projectors and everything. Also you have tons of food right downstairs for when you need a break.

HC: What was it like being a founding member of a frat on campus?

EP: It is a lot of fun and very exciting, but also a ton of work. You are figuring everything out as you go, so it is very messy, but in the end, everything somehow ends up working out. It will be very cool if we can leave behind a strong organization, and look back in a few years at a thriving chapter.

HC: What is your favorite part about being in a frat?

EP: Having a large group of guys always there if you just want to chill out, get some sort of activity/sport going, or have an event on campus.

HC: What are your post college plans?

EP: I am leaning towards financial advising at the moment, but I am still unsure. Hopefully moving west, and to a more rural area eventually if the opportunity arises.

Make sure you say hi to Eli on campus!

HCXO,

Kellie
