Fall is a beautiful time of the year. The leaves are changing, the air is becoming colder, and everyone is obsessed with the coveted fall scents.This past fall break I decided to travel to Linvilla Orchards and immerse myself in the season’s traditions. Linvilla Orchards is located in Media, PA and offers hayrides, pick your own apples, a farmer’s market, a garden center, and loads of family fun activities! Check out the two activities I did!
Hayride
Linvilla Orchards offer fall harvest and autumn moon hayrides. Fall harvest hayrides are offered Monday through Friday 12:30pm to 4pm and Saturday to Sunday 10am to 5pm at $6 per person. Autumn moon hayrides are offered Monday through Thursday 6pm to 7pm and Friday to Sunday from 6pm to 8pm at $7.50 per person. I went on the fall harvest hayride and thought it was extremely relaxing! The farm is gigantic and so mesmerizing.
Pick Your Own
Currently Linvilla Orchards has apples available for picking. Pick your own activities occur daily from 8am to 7pm. I bought the 2 quart container which held around eleven apples and found it to be sufficient. I highly enjoyed picking my own apples, an activity I had never done before. They gave us access to their apple orchard which included an immense amount of trees. They had a variety of different kind of apple trees which included red delicious and granny smith apples. The experience was great and the apples were delicious.
