It’s that time of year again! Not Christmas, but the Victoria Secret Fashion Show! Mark your calendar and set your DVR for December 8 at 10pm on CBS!
Have you ever wondered what goes into the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show? Who picks who walks in the show? Do they become full time VS models? Is the show live? How do I score tickets?
These questions always cross my mind around this time of year. It appeals to everyone around the world. Guys watch it to see sexy exotic women strut on the runway, girls watch it and wish they could be them, and international viewers watch it to see beautiful women represent their country.
Here is your pre-show guide and some BTS picture moments:

Time and Location: Filmed on November 10 in New York City.

Candice Swanepoel: from South Africa and was scouted at the age of 15 in a flea market
Adriana Lima: has two kids and had been an angel for 15 years
Lily Aldridge: originally from America and is married to the lead singer of Kings of Leon, Caleb Followill
Alessandra Ambrosio: has two kids and was the first spokesperson for PINK
Behati Prinsloo: married to Adam Levine
THE AUDITION THAT WENT VIRAL
Here’s a clip from when Gigi Hadid auditioned for the fashion show and got asked “What are you doing November 9 and 10th?” She freaked out and you could tell she was extremely grateful. She’s always been a model and to receive this honor at age 20 was life changing for her.
THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT
Another exciting call back was given to Kendall Jenner on her 20th birthday on November 3rd. She posted this Instagram with the caption saying it was “the best birthday present ever”. It’s ironic because her and Gigi are not only good friends, but distantly related.
VS BOOT CAMP
How do they get their perfect bods? Prior to the VS Fashion Show casting, there’s a four-day boxing training camp for prospective to get in tip top shape. Lais Ribeiro who’s walking in the show this year, co-hosts this boot camp.
REHERSAL DAY PHOTOS
Even though the models aren’t supposed to take pictures, some of them took some sneak pics that didn’t give any show details.
THE PRE UNIFORM
All of the models going into the filming (on November 10) wore black to get ready to be stripped down and glammed up!
THE FANTASY BRA
This year the fantasy bra is worth about $2 million and Lily Aldridge gets the honor or wearing it this year.
