Liz Wardach, ’16, proves from head to toe that comfort and style can be found on sale at a variety of locations. I stopped Wardach in Starbucks to get all of the details on her cozy Friday ensemble. She also shared what was in her Starbucks cup!
Scarf: Purchased from the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet for $30. This chunky, neutral scarf is the perfect go-to for any outfit, while providing warmth.
Flannel: J.Crew flannel found on sale for $40 on sale in the men’s department. Why a men’s flannel I ask? “Men’s shirts just have more room! And they match my style more than women’s” Wardach said.
Rain Jacket: Purchased for $165 from Madewell. Although this oversized piece doesn’t provide much warmth on a bitter autumn day, Wardach doesn’t pass up the opportunity to wear her navy blue Penfield jacket; the perfect addition to her look.
Jeans: Classic denim jeans purchased at the Levi’s Outlet for $30. Cuffed twice to show off her socks and boots, Wardach said that her Levi’s are the most comfortable pair of jeans.
Socks: J.Crew for $12.50. In excitement, Wardach said that the socks make the outfit despite the pricetag: “I’ve got to splurge sometimes.”
Boots: G.H. Bass & Co. found on sale for $25. Wardach is laced up for the impending cold season.
Accessories: Fossil watch & bracelet were both gifts that have become a staple in Wardach’s wardrobe. Worn every day, these chestnut colored bands make for essential, yet simple, arm candy. And of course, the most important accessory – a tall cappuccino for a mid-afternoon caffeine boost.
