Marc Sweeney left quite the impression on me after I had a few classes with him on Hawk Hill. I distinctly remember last year having a “Man, that kid can dress” moment in our third class together. You will frequently find him rocking black-rimmed specs, vans that make him dance, and suave button downs. Not only does this handsome guy have style, but he is a comedian in his own right and naturally charming. I couldn’t resist asking the defintion of dapper to be this week’s campus cutie.

Who is your best friend and why?
I have a couple best friends who keep me laughing and have been around forever, so I’ll give a shout out to Cate, Paige, Jamie and Joe.

I use curse words way too often to even type what I say daily!
When and where are you happiest?
I am happiest when I am with my family or at St. Joe’s.
Where would you like to live one day?
I hope to live somewhere in New England, like Boston, Connecticut, or Maine.
What is your life motto?
Hard work pays off – corny and overused, I know, but it is so true.
Ideal date?
Sitting on the beach with a fire just talking.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I hope to have some position at Vineyard Vines or Polo working in their marketing or web development departments.
What is your pet peeve?
The running joke in my house is that I have too many pet peeves, but I’d have to say loud chewers or people who are always negative.
Three words to describe yourself?
Intelligent, funny, and a great dresser. (All true!)
Favorite food?
I am obsessed with food so basically anything deep fried and covered in cheese.
Favorite show?
American Horror Story – hands down!

I have an odd obsession with clothes so my favorite places to shop are Vineyard Vines, Polo, J.Crew, and Brooks Brothers.
