Campus Cutie: Ben Burns ’17

I had the opportunity of interviewing Ben this weekend and asked him a few fun questions about his life! Ben is funny and a great new friend of mine!

Major: Communications Major/Marketing Minor

Year: Senior 

Her Campus SJU: What are you involved in on campus?

Ben Burns: Orientation/Apex Leader and Adventure Club Officer

HC: Favorite spot on campus?

BB: Sweeney Field

HC: Three words to describe yourself?

BB: Crafty, frank, and chipotle 

HC: Most embarrassing moment at SJU?

BB: Sophomore year, I was in campion after I finished a really bad exam and the only thing that could lift my spirits was a beautiful golden waffle. When I was walking to find a spot to eat, I dropped my entire plate. Completely defeated, I picked up the waffle, left it on the conveyor belt, and walked home. It was as low as low gets.

HC: Favorite song to sing in the shower?

BB: Jackie and Wilson by Hozier

HC: If you were a drink what would you be?

BB: 16oz Wawa coffee from the library pod. 

HC: Biggest pet peeve?

BB: Anything Matt Brown does.

HC: What are you most looking forward to for Thanksgiving break?

BB: Thanksgiving will be the first time my family will be together in a long time. My sister goes to school in Utah, and my brother just started his freshman year at Lehigh. We will probably spend the whole weekend laying on the floor with our dog. 

HC: If you could go back and tell your freshman year self one thing what would it be?

BB: Lay off the Campion pizza…no matter how good it looks this time; it will taste just as bad as last time.
