8 Pre-APEX Emotions as Told by Jimmy Fallon

The Appalachian Experience or APEX as most of us call it, is a spring break immersion program that sends SJU students all throughout the Appalachian Region to learn about the culture and serve in solidarity with those that live in the region. Don’t forget to sign up and experience.

1. When you remember APEX sign-ups are one week away.

2. Setting your alarm for 6:00pm on September 26th so you don’t forget to sign up.


3. When you hear sign-ups are closed only 5 hours after it opened up.

 

4. Waiting for reveal to be here like….


5. When you find out what site you are going to and who your leaders are.


 
6. Going to your first Tuesday meeting and playing ice breakers with people you barely know…yet. 

7. When one of your APEX leaders says “Hi” to you on campus and you freak out on the inside.

8. 173 days until APEX Friday….not that we’re already counting down.
