Is it just me, or was 2018 the year of breakups? Couples have been dropping like flies the past few months. Every time I turn around, it seems someone else is heartbroken.
The good news is that this also means 2018 is the year of GIRL POWER! It’s easy to listen to sad songs and wallow in your misery, but once you’re done wallowing (which should happen quickly!) it’s time to transition into picking yourself up and becoming the girl boss you are. Delete that “Broken-Hearted Girl” playlist on Spotify and make a new one with these girl power anthems sung by some of the greatest girl bosses I know, because you too are not a girl that frets over some mediocre boy!

The most important thing to do after a breakup is rediscover yourself and fall in love with yourself again, especially if the relationship you just got out of made you lose that. Self love is all you really need.

For all the ladies who got cheated on, this one’s for you. Plus, it’s an absolute banger.

Look on the bright side: you’re a free woman now! You don’t have to answer to anyone. Believe me, he will be wishing he held you down once you put yourself out there again.
