As the semester comes to an end, many head home to spend the holidays with their families and friends. It is very common to travel during the holiday season, whether it’s going to see family out of town, out of state, or out of the country.

If you are looking to switch up your holiday plans this year, here are some fun locations to enjoy a good holiday vacation. You can also save these ideas for any other holiday or season.

South Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe is one of those places that’s a must to go at least once in your lifetime. Whether it’s to ski or snowboard, South Lake Tahoe offers a range of different activities that all ages can enjoy.

There are also options on whether you would like to stay in a hotel or rent out an Airbnb. Marriott’s Timber Lodge happens to be one of the top hotels to stay at on many people’s lists.

Yosemite

Yosemite is another popular destination, where everyone goes either during the summer or winter season. Evergreen Lodge is a top hotel that many stay at.

If you like the outdoors, then Yosemite and South Lake Tahoe are the best places for you to enjoy your time. On Yosemite’s website, you can look at their page on the activities that they offer during your time there.

Amusement Parks or a Cruise

Another holiday trip idea that you can do is plan a trip to an amusement park. Many people tend to gravitate towards going to Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags, Disneyworld, Universal Studios Orlando, etc. Many other people tend to travel on a cruise for the holiday seasons.

When it comes to enjoying a winter vacation, it doesn’t always mean heading to the mountains and being surrounded by snow. It can mean anything as long as you’re with the people you love.

Head to A Different State

Another idea that you can do with family or friends is go and visit another state. There are many different states that have cities that celebrate the holiday season beautifully, and I’m sure that the locals would love to share their traditions with you.

We all come from different cultures, and getting to learn about new traditions and cultures can be very rewarding. You can also go skiing or snowboarding in a different state, like Colorado.

Head to Another Country

Now, if you would like to do something very different this holiday season, you can always go out of the country. Just like heading to a different state to celebrate the holidays, going to a different country can be a new experience.

In each state, it can vary from city to city on how they enjoy the holiday season. Over in a different country, you are also introduced to a different culture and also you get to see how each country celebrates the holiday season.

These trips can be done at any time of the year. When it comes to finding that holiday getaway, it’s always great to plan these trips in advance. Just by having the trip ready in advance, it gives you a peace of mind.

When it comes to celebrating the holidays, it can be so rewarding. Make sure to cherish those special moments with your loved ones. Happy Holidays!
