Women are essential in today’s workforce and their opportunities and impact will continue to increase as issues such as gender pay gaps are fixed. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, there are 74.6 million women in the civilian labor force. They are occupying more high job roles in different type of industries such as; marketing and sales managers, educational administrators, food service managers, chief executive and also in the tech industry.

Dating can be challenging when women are working long hours and focused on their career growth which can leave them with less personal time to find that right person to form a romantic relationship with. Dating takes time and consistency especially during the beginning of a blossoming relationship such as coordinating the first date and getting to know each other well. So, with the busy work schedule what better than considering online dating as a way to meet the right person. Online dating has become more mainstream and an accepted way of meeting new people and building a wide social network.

According to the statisticbrain.com, 47.6 percent of females are online dating users which is very close to the number of men using online dating sites to meet women which is 52.4 percent. These websites can give women not only the ability to choose from a selective pool of people but also cut time by getting to know the person before meeting them and avoiding having an uncomfortable scenario. Online websites can give you many service options such as; emailing the person, video conferencing, texting, chatting before taking that step to exchange numbers and speak on the phone. Online dating is becoming the new digital romance in for this generation where people have moved away from more traditional dating options. The online dating industry has become the new norm in our culture and which is allowing user to meet a more diverse pool of people and fit dating into their busy work schedules.
