Little Miss Lucky: Creating your own Luck this Month

Being lucky is something that comes naturally to everyone. If someone tells you that they’re not lucky, that isn’t  true. Luck comes to everyone at the right moment. There are always ways to attract luck ,this month or in any month, and it all starts with attracting the opportunities.

Here are some ideas on how to create your luck.

Try New Things

Luck rarely finds people that decide to stay in the same routine. Trying new things exposes you to new opportunities, people and experiences. Go try that new matcha you’ve been curious about. Go to that game that you’ve always wanted to attend.

Don’t just wait for your friends or family, go and try those new things that you’ve been wanting to try for a long time.

Trying that new thing gets us out of our comfort zone and helps present new opportunities that can help. Trying those new things gives you the opportunity to grow.

You are challenged when it comes to the new opportunities and you also have the chance to learn more about yourself. BSValenica offers more insight on the benefits of stepping out of your comfort zone when trying new things.

Reset Your Mind

When it comes to creating your own luck, your mindset matters the most. You can reset your mind through meditation or by simply taking time to clear your thoughts. When having a good  mindset, it helps reshape your perception of the different opportunities that can arise.

To create your own luck, you must prepare mentally. While some things occur out of the blue, it’s important to stay read. Be more open-minded and optimistic. But there are times where our mindset can turn against us and that can have a negative impact on us because we can lose those moments that can work in one’s favor.

Leverage Those Setbacks

Luck can feel positive, but there are moments where luck isn’t so lucky. When it comes to failed attempts, don’t let that set you back and make you lose that motivation. Instead work harder, find those missing parts that failed in the first place. Also, take those moments to take of yourself before you begin to analyze.

A way to find those missing parts that failed is by journaling. Have a specific journal where you can write everything that has happened that day.

By writing it can help you find that missing part where it failed and you can think about how to maybe fix that one part so that you are prepared if it happens again.

This also goes hand in hand with resetting your mind. Those failed attempts can hurt your mind, making you rethink things, but don’t let that make you lose motivation. Also know that yes there can be setbacks, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve failed.

Instead it offers you an opportunity to adjust and prepare yourself for the opportunities to come.

Trust Those Instincts

We always hear the saying “Trust your instincts.” And I couldn’t agree more with that statement. Instincts are the ones that let us know whether or not we should try or do those things. Sometimes those instincts will be the ones that will help you reach that goal.

We may not know when that right moment will be, but our instincts can help us reach those right moments.

Become a Social Butterfly

Sometimes your luck involves the people around you. Building those new friendships can help create a luck so special that usually those friends will be the ones that will be there always.

Friendships can also help with guiding you in those stressful times where you just need a shoulder to cry on. We may not see it but our friends are what bring our luck. We are lucky to have those special people around us because they create that safe space for us and vice versa.

We often think of luck as something that simply happens to others and say “They’re just lucky.”

What we usually don’t see is that luck can be anything. Trying to create your own luck will be hard but that shouldn’t stop you from trying it out. We are all lucky at the right moments.
