It’s officially spooky season, which calls for watching fun Halloween movies with friends or even alone. The weather is just perfect for this time of year. This means that Halloween is right around the corner, you might start hearing about the parties or your friends making plans to  go out for Halloween weekend.

But what happens when you hear about these plans, and  it isn’t your cup of tea? The answer is that you can enjoy some Halloween fun without going out. As an introvert myself, I would rather stay home and enjoy a movie marathon.

Here are some fun ideas on how to enjoy the Halloween without going out or feeling like you’re missing out:

Small Party

Grab some of your closest friends and plan a day to meet at someone’s home for your own mini Halloween party. You can all plan a specific dish that is Halloween themed. TikTok and Instagram Reels always have different videos showing what mocktails or sweet treats to recreate with your closest friends.

Movie Night

If you’re not in the mood to host a party the next thing that you can do is a movie night. It can be in person with your friends at one’s house or have your movie night from the comfort of  your own bed, inviting friends to stream and start the movie all together.

Pumpkin Patch

Okay, this might sound like a cliché but taking a fun trip with your friends or family to the pumpkin patch. Whether it’s San Jose, Morgan Hill, or Half Moon Bay’s Pumpkin Patch, you can enjoy a fun trip.

Did you know that there are even some pumpkin patches where you can bring your furry friend along? Hello Ruby Doodle article offers a list of the different pumpkin patches in the area where you can bring your furry friend.

Baking

If you want to enjoy an at-home activity by yourself, you can bake some scaringly fun treats to enjoy. If you have watched “Coraline,” there are many videos showing how to make button cookies.

You don’t have to stick to  Halloween themed treats, you can also make general fall treats as well. Maybe you’ll find something that you have never tried before and enjoy doing it.

Go And Do Something Scary

Have you ever wanted to go and do something scary? The Winchester Mystery House offers their Festival Fright Nights, and the Filoli Historic House offers their Nightfall.

If anything, I personally told my friends that I will go with them to the Filoli House at night, but I will not be going into the room that has dolls. That’s a big NO!

Secret San Francisco also offers a great list of what to do during Halloween time. Ultimately, you can enjoy the holiday  as an introvert your own way.
