Bailey Sarian: Your New Favorite Youtuber

She blends in her eyeshadow, looking into the viewfinder while explaining heinous crimes that almost no one could fathom ever happening. But, before she even begins telling the true crime tale, she sings her theme song- “sha na sha, sha na sha, sha na sha sha, sha na sha”.

Her name is Bailey Sarian. Every Monday, she puts out a video in her Murder, Mystery, and Makeup series, in which she talks about either a crime or criminal on that Monday’s respective video.

Sarian began her Youtube channel in 2013, her first video being her foundation and contour routine. Since then, her content was mostly makeup and beauty related, with a few vlogs and get ready with me (GRWM) videos here and there.

In January of 2019, Sarian released a video entitled “Chris Watts - 2000 Page Discovery MurderMysteryMakeup | Bailey Sarian” in which she talked about the recent Christ Watts murder case. She prefaced the video saying that she was trying something different- her series was going to be a true crime GRWM video that would happen every Monday.

She kept to the series, and it has since flourished. Almost 60 videos have been uploaded in her experimental GRWM format.  If you’re into makeup, murders, and mysteries, Sarian’s videos are for you! If you’re looking to get into her videos, here are some of the best videos from her Murder, Mystery, and Makeup series:

1.    “Gypsy Rose Blanchard - Manchausen by proxy or Killer? - MysterMystery&Makeup - Bailey Sarian

Gypsy Rose Blanchard returned to the spotlight in early 2019 following the premiere of Hulu’s series “The Act”, which centered around Blanchard’s life and the events leading up to her conviction of second-degree murder. I’m not going to go into too much detail- I’ll leave that to Sarian- but Blanchard’s story is so layered and intricate, this is definitely a must-watch.

2.    “The Unabomber. Who was Ted Kaczynski? Inside his mind - Mystery&Makeup Bailey Sarian

The Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, sent multiple explosive devices to varying individuals from the late 70s to mid-90s. Sarian gave an in-depth look into the Unabomber’s background, and this video is an excellent reflection of the work Sarian puts into researching the people and events she covers. Plus, the look she ends up with is just *chef’s kiss*.

3.    “300 year old werewolf? Richardson Family Case - MurderMystery&Makeup GRWM | Bailey Sarian

Sarian worked on a red-lipped look in this video where she talks about a truly jaw-dropping crime that was terrifying on all fronts. She did a great job of explaining the many moving parts of the event, and it’s a really interesting yet tragic story.

In addition to her Murder, Mystery, and Makeup series, Sarian posts videos every Saturday. Go check her channel out- she’s a great gal with some great content!
