This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Simmons chapter.

There’s nothing quite like a mug of hot chocolate on a chilly autumn day. For those that prefer cocoa over coffee, or just like to indulge in something sweet, here are a few unique places around Boston that serve heaven in a cup.    1. Max Brenner

Obsessed with chocolate? At Max Brenner, you’ve hit the motherload. Located in the Back Bay area near Copley Square, Max Brenner is a restaurant that serves all things chocolate. Share chocolate fondue for two, try their chocolate pizza, or cozy up with a specialty mug of hot chocolate. Max Brenner serves six different flavors, from classic to spicy to even Oreo. Plus it’s served in their specialty mug, designed to be held perfectly in the palms of your hands. For the ultimate warm, cozy, chocolatey vibes, Max Brenner is your destination.

2. Paris Creperie

The Paris Creperie is a tiny gem of a restaurant located in Coolidge Corner, just steps from the train stop. Obviously, its namesake is crepes, but another notable menu item is their Nutella hot chocolate. It comes with adorable artwork sprinkled on top, and they also serve it frozen, so you can have a chocolatey beverage no matter the temperature outside. Pair it with a signature Nutella and strawberry crepe and you’ve got yourself a Nutella dream.

3. Pavement Coffee

Fun fact: Pavement Coffee actually got its start through its homemade bagels. It has since expanded to everything under the sun, including hot chocolate. If you’re looking for something worthy of posting on Instagram, your search is over. The hot chocolates are topped with lovely art and add that to the rustic aesthetic and chill vibes, and you’ve got the perfect place for a warm drink and some laptop time. Pavement has multiple locations in Boston, including Fenway and Newbury. No matter where you are, you’ll probably spot a Pavement.
