As you may have heard (or seen plastered all over residence billboards), there is a Masquerade Ball coming up on Siena’s campus! Below I have compiled a must read list of why to go, what to know and what to wear.

Why should you go?

First of all, it’s one more excuse to avoid the inevitable pile of homework or studying you’ll have compiled from so called “syllabus week.”

Second of all, it’s going to be one of the biggest events on campus! Over 250 students have already signed up – it’s an excuse to dress up and go out, how could you go wrong?

Third of all, (last but not least), it’s the perfect excuse for a girl’s night. Put on our favorite LBD, curl your hair & get that perfect insta.

What should you know?

Date & Time: January 30th at 8:00 (or anytime before 1 AM if you plan on being fashionably late)

Attire: Formal! It’s the perfect excuse to steal your roommate’s new NAKED palette; use it wisely.

Guests: Every student is entitled to two guests, so bring your boyfriend and your best friend. How could a girl say no?

Sign up: RSVP using this link (I promise it only takes a second!)

What should you wear?

I’m partially bias to the little black dress, and I’ve ALWAYS had good luck online at Tobi.com, your first purchase is 50% off which makes it totally affordable! (It even leaves you money for weekly Chipotle.

Here are some examples of what I would chose:

The back on this dress is an absolute head turner, and you could have so much fun with accessories! (A chunky statement necklace would be perfect).

I mentioned the black dress fetish, right? This is a great option if you want something long. (Perhaps you’re like me and are a tad weary about your not so tan legs – or just don’t want to shave).

Another GREAT dress website is Lulus.com – I’ve yet to meet a dress here I didn’t like.

Did I mention affordable?

Is it possible to go wrong with a simple black strap? I don’t think so.
