Reviewing Pandora’s New Valentine’s Day Collection

Though Valentine’s Day has passed, Pandora Jewelry dropped some cute pieces in their Valentine’s Day/Chinese New Year 2022 collection. Here are some of their new pieces and some of my thoughts on them:

Pandora ME Love Open Ring

When the Pandora ME collection dropped I was not impressed. For anyone who is familiar with the rest of the collection it seemed TOO different and complicated compared to what the rest of the products the brand offers. That is not the case with this ring. This a good direction to go in with the Pandora Me collection. The handwritten look of the word love is very trendy. The pink tone of rose gold and word “love” were also a good choice for a Valentine’s Day vibe. This could be a perfect gift for someone like a sister or a bestie.

Sparkling Freehand Heart Hoop Earrings

The freehand heart is a classic staple at Pandora and has always been cute, but effortless. The two-tone of rose gold and silver is a great transition for those who have a lot silver and want to find a way to add more rose gold into their collection. I do admire these earring, however I can’t help but notice that that Pandora recently came out with charm earrings. These are earrings/hoops wear you can add different charms on and personalize your look. Though you’d probably pay more in the long run, I’d wanna go for more the charm earrings and switch them out instead of having one fixed earring I can’t change. Especially since Pandora recently came out with a very similar eye catching freehand heart charm.

Freehand Heart Ring

Here we see the freehand heart again, however here I am not the biggest fan. I do enjoy the rose gold and the stackability of the ring, however I wish they had chosen a symmetrical heart for this style instead of the freehand. I personally think the asymmetrical look doesn’t look right on that simple of a band. If this doesn’t bother you like it does me than I say stack away! I’d stack this with a mix of different rose gold and silver bands.

Sparkling Freehand Heart Necklace

Yes and no. I’m on the fence about this. The necklace plays with two-tone which once again is perfect for those who want to add a bit more rose gold into their collection. Mixing metals is fun and playful. Also this necklace is REVERSIBLE. You can wear it with the paved stones to dress your look up with a bit more glam or play it down with the engraved rose gold side. My only complaint about this necklace that really outs me on the fence is the fact that the chain for this necklace seems very cheap and like it would snap at the slightest tug. Which we obviously don’t want in a necklace, I wish they had attached a more durable chain to the pendant.

Pavé Heart & Angel Wings Necklace

This necklace isn’t extraordinary in terms of originality. What scores points for me are the gorgeous choice of pink cubic zirconia pavé on the heart of the pendant. A piece like this is perfect for someone who wants to make a statement without being over the top. This would be a perfect gift for any angel in your life and would pair great with their similar angel wing earrings.
