New Jewelry Trends to Try ASAP

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Siena chapter.

Want to spice up an outfit, or add a little something to your every day look? New jewelry trends are popping up everywhere and are the perfect way to add to a look! Here are a few of my faves!

Hoops!

Hoops are super easy to dress up or down. They’re dainty, yet make a statement. One of my favorite things to do is to double up with two pairs of small hoops in each ear. Hoops also look great paired with a smaller stud or accent earring. Gold, sliver, pearls: the possibilities given by hoops are endless!

Layered Necklaces

Hmmm, what necklace to wear today? Why not wear a few! Start with a small chain, add a simple necklace (pearls, some sparkle, or a little charm) and top it off with a bigger penant. Stores everywhere are selling sets of necklaces that are meant to be layered together, but I find it is just as fun to create my own combinations!

Gold, Gold, Gold!

Bracelets, earrings, necklace, watches, rings—you choose! Gold jewelry is classic and is becoming more and more popular. As someone who had always been a silver person, I was hesitant to jump on the trend, but I quickly started to fall in love with the few gold pieces I had. Now, my expanding collection of gold jewelry is my favorite to choose from when accessorizing any outfit.

Anything Butterflies

Jewelry and butterflies? My two favorite things! Whether its a necklace, breacelet, earrings or rings, butterflies are the cutest little addition.  They create a sence of beauty but also add a fun element into any look.

Rings on Rings!

Just like layered necklaces, layering a few rings on each hand are a great way to create a unique look. Simple gold or silver bands, fun shaped rings or some sparkle all pair so great together and are a great way to experiment with a dressy look or a simple day-to-day outfit.

New jewelry trends are emerging everywhere and can be hard to keep track of. I hope you are inspired by some of my favorites and never hesitate to try some new trends out. Who knows, you may find one you love!
