Hello wonderful human being who hopefully enjoys friends and food. It is finally the time of year where you can stuff as much food into your stomach as humanly possible – Thanksgiving. If you’re a senior and you magically have a wonderful townhouse kitchen you can participate in Friendsgiving. It’s like Thanksgiving but instead of insane relatives screaming that the turkey isn’t going to be done in time, your friends will scream instead. Here are a few ideas for your wonderful Friendsgiving.

Apps

Begin your friendsgiving with wacky appetizers. Be sure to save room for the rest of the meal though!

Feta spinach stuffed french bread (cook time: 24 minutes)

Easy Garlic Parmesan Knots (Cook time: 10 minutes)

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Main Event

If you’re up for a challenge, you have to try and cook a turkey. It’s a difficult task but when it is done properly it is a game changer. If you’re not up for the task, you might want to stop by the grocery store and get an already cooked chicken! It’s an easy way out of this difficult task.

Easy Grlic and Herb Roasted Turkey (Cook time: 2.5 hours)

Sides.

I’m definitely a sides person. I love all of the different flavors paired into one. So go wild with these! You might need to combine two different houses if you want to make a lot of sides. The more kitchen room the better! I definitely recomend making something involving sweet potatoes.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes made in a crockpot.

Balsamic Parmesan Roasted Asparagus and Tomatoes (Cook time: 20 Minutes)

Parmesan-Butternut Squash Gratin (Cook time: 75 minutes)

Fully loaded Sweet Potatoes (Cook Time: 70 minutes)

Roasted brussel sprouts, cinnamon butternut squash, peacans, and cranberries (Cook time: 40 minutes)

Dessert.

What is a Friendsgiving without a sugary dessert? Since it is still fall, I think you might need to include apples into your feast! If not, I’ve also supplied ideas for mini cheesecakes and a delcious chocolate chip pie. After dessert, you might want to throw on a movie and call it a night! Hopefully your tummies are full and you’re even more thankful for meeting all of these wonderful friends.

Apple Crisp Stuff Baked Apples (Cook time: 15 minutes)

Apple Nachos (Cook time: 5 minutes)

Caramel Apple Crisp Mini Cheescake (Cook time: 30 minutes)

Chocolate Chip Pie (Cook time: 60 minutes)
