Bored with the Internet? Find More Fun with These YouTubers

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Siena chapter.

After a long and hectic day I always look forward to catching up with my favorite Internet celebrities on YouTube.   From makeup tutorials to reviews on the latest technology to just watching people drive around in their car I always learn something new every time I click on a video.  Here are a few of my favorite YouTubers I highly recommend you check out the next time you find yourself aimlessly wandering around the Internet!

Justine “iJustine” Ezarik

I started watching Justine’s videos my sophomore year of high school and rediscovered iJustine this past summer.  My All Time favorite YouTuber, Justine became Internet-famous after posting a 30 second video of her flipping through the 300 PAGE IPHONE BILL she received after getting the first iPhone.

On YouTube, Justine is famous for reviewing all the latest Apple products, gaming and tech videos, vlogging her daily adventures, and even cooking videos – usually featuring Star Wars desserts!  No matter what mood I am in, Justine’s videos always make me laugh.  She also has the cutest puppy ever, Matty, who steals the show in all of her videos!

Ingrid Nilsen

Ingrid is another YouTuber I’ve been watching for years.  She has grown from a beauty guru to a lifestyle and advice expert, and all-around inspiring role model.  Extremely kind and down-to-Earth, watching Ingrid’s videos are like catching up with your best friend.

The Late Late Show with James Corden

My newest obsession is James Corden.  I absolutely love Carpool Karaoke and have watched James with Justin Bieber more times than I’d like to admit.  I will be subscribing to keep up to date with all of James’ hilarious sketches.  This YouTube channel is perfect for all of us who can’t stay up for his 12:30am show.

What’s Inside?

Have you ever wondered what’s inside a world-famous Lokai bracelet?  The other day the strangest video popped up on my YouTube homepage – a father and son cutting open Lokai bracelets to see if they really have water and mud in them.  I won’t ruin the surprise; you will have to watch their video to find out for yourself.

I started watching other videos with this adorable duo and I must say I am hooked.  This father and son team takes random objects, including bulletproof vests and even Hoverboards, and cut them open to see what makes them tick.  It’s an odd concept for a YouTube channel – cutting open anything and everything – but it’s extremely fascinating.

I hope that these channels help you discover more on YouTube than just funny wisdom teeth videos.  Enjoy!
