If you’re reading this, you’re about to get an inside scoop on Sophomore Alex Tejera. I’ve known him for over a year, and he still surprises me every day. Polished, hard-working, and most definitely entertaining – I give you: Siena Men’s Soccer’s number 10.

Name: Alex Tejera

Her Campus Siena: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Alex: Time travel. I would definitely go back. I wouldn’t want to go forward though because I’m excited to see what the future holds and I don’t want to screw it up.

Her Campus Siena: What was the defining moment when you knew you wanted to play soccer?

Alex: When my brother won All-American when he was 13. I was 11 at the time and he was the only one in New York to win it. When he did i said to myself, “I want to be exactly like my big brother,” and since he wanted to play in the pros, so did I.

Her Campus Siena: What are some traits you look for in a girl?

Alex: Traits I look for in a girl? Is making me laugh a trait? That. And outgoing, good personality. Is three enough?

Her Campus Siena: How important is singing in the shower?

Alex: Very.

Her Campus Siena: Do you have any pets at home?

Alex: Cooper! My little buddy. Just saying his name makes me so happy. *insert girly squeals*

Her Campus Siena: Do you talk to your pets?

Alex: Do I talk to my dog? Please. Absolutely.

I’m not kidding; he really is pretty entertaining, and he’s got a big heart, on and off the field.
