Ranee Bian

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SFU chapter.

Smart, intelligent, and hilarious are three words that come to mind when I think of this week’s campus profile, Ranee Bian.

The basics

Age: 19
Year: 2nd
Major: Business
Relationship Status: Single

What is your favourite thing about SFU?
The endless opportunities to grow ourselves as individuals.

What are some of your favourite movies?
Titanic, Forest Gump, Mean Girls, and Finding Nemo!

What is one of the scariest things you’ve ever done?
I went bungee jumping once! It was so worth it.

If you were a type of animal, what would you be and why?
I’d be a panda because that’s my spirit animal.

What’s your biggest turn-off in a man or woman?
One of my biggest turn-offs would definitely be someone who lacks ambition and has no dreams, someone who only wants to sit on the couch and do nothing with their lives. Another turn off would be someone who is good at something but who isn’t humble about it at all. I can’t stand people who are super arrogant and full of themselves. And by the way, intelligence is a huge turn-on!

What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the person I am today. Although I’m not the best I can be, I’m excited to grow and learn new things. I think that we are all at the prime time of our lives, so it’s super important to take advantage of this time and be the best that we can be!
