Go to bed early!
Yes yes, we all guilty of watching one more episode of the Office on Netflix or strolling through our instagram again at 12 at night and regretting in the morning. You deserve a full night’s rest and if you don’t get it; your whole day will be out of whack. Bad mood and bags under our eyes, we don’t want that.
Hydrate!
Water, Water, Water! We are expected to drink 8 glasses of water a day. This will not only help to relax but also feel less stressed and of course, glowing skin! If you don’t like plain water, add some fruit to it!
Learn the Art of saying No
I know sometimes it’s hard to say no, because you don’t want disappoint your friends and loved ones. It is okay, sometimes you have to think about yourself and your own well-being. It may sound selfish but its actually not.If there’s something you don’t want to do, I don’t see why you should do it. Saying ‘No’ builds character but don’t forget say yes to the things you actually want to do!
Take Personal Days!
Everybody needs a day to just be alone. No phones, no social media. Just YOU. A day to enjoy your own company, even if you are an extrovert.. Alone time is important. Get your favourite face mask, make your favourite tea,listen to a podcast and relax. Solitude sometimes is necessary, doesn’t make you lazy! Tip: If you can’t schedule a day every week, try 1 hour a day.
Eating Healthy and Balanced Meals
Try to eat throughout the day. Often times, we get really busy especially with the semester coming to an end and we start eating less and stuff that is bad for us. Try snacking on some fruits, add some veggies to your plate. Your body will thank you for it.
