It’s Fashion Week SFA!
HerCampusSFA has teamed up with SFA Organization Fashion N Motion (FnM) to bring to you a week of fashion!
Were you exceptionally fashionable today? Let FnM help you display your outfit by sending a photo to their Twitter page @FnM_SFA to gain exposure on their Twitter and Instagram account.
Established in 2009, FnM serves to bring awareness to the SFA campus one garment at a time. FNM is an explosive organization building confidence & awareness in a stylist way. Watch as your SFA classmates, Twitter followers, Facebook friends, and Instagram “stalkers,” strut the runway on Thursday, April 4 at 7pm in the Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $3 for General Admission and $5 for an up-close and personal V.I.P. ticket. VIP tickets are sold at the Information desk in the Baker Patillo Student Center; General Admission will be sold at the door.
“You haven’t seen fierce until you’ve been to a FnM fashion show,” said FnM stylist Nyokase Banda.
The fashion show ProjectRedVI serves as a HIV/AIDS awareness movement, sharing both fashion and awareness in a creative way. To emphasis the need to “know your status,” FnM offers free HIV testing today from 11-2 in regents suite B which also includes free general admission tickets for the show.
Various fashion designers are displayed in the show including up and coming brand, True Ties.
“What ties us together is what makes our ties unique. “said founders, Cass Brown, Jamal Peden, and Sydney Buckner. True Ties create custom bowties that will be displayed in ProjectRedVI this year.
As apart of the FnM stage committee this year, I am encouraging everyone to come out and see what we’ve been working hard on all semester!
