As an African-American woman, taking care of your natural isn’t always easy and can sometimes feel like a chore. If we’re being completely honest, when I first went natural, I had no idea how to properly take care of my hair. Thankfully, however, YouTube exists. I soon found out that I was not the only person with that problem. I learned to understand and appreciate my hair as I watched natural hair videos on YouTube created by girls with hair like mine.
