As the weather gets colder, pulling out the boots and layering on a sweater doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because my hot cocoa addiction and my layering addiction become acceptable without anyone asking if I’m too hot. Our campus is filled with tons of amazing different styles, and I thought I’d put together a couple of outfits that would be perfect for fall – not only on the mountain, but all over! You can take these ideas and mix up pieces to make them your own, then rock your flawless fall style in all its glory.

Outfit #1:

Barbour jackets are a popular item, and you can find cheaper alternatives of quilted jackets from stores such as H&M if you prefer to stay within budget. Pairing a nice colored jacket with a stripe shirt, chunky scarf, dark jeans, and boots is a comfortable way to look cute and be comfortabely warm.

Outfit #2:

A dress and a classic black blazer go well together, and wearing leggings underneath ensures you’ll stay warm throughout the day. Slipping on a pair of rain boots is a great idea just incase you get caught up in the rain.

Outfit #3:

Vests are a fun way to not only add some style to your oufit, but also great to throw on when you’re not looking to wear a full jacket. A soft cotton flannel together with corduroys tucked into duck boots work well together, and there’s always the extra element of cuffing your pants as well. Toss on some shades for your stroll around campus and you’re ready to go.

As always, style is all about you and your preference, and that goes for fall style as well. I can’t wait to see what you rock these cold months!
