Let’s face it, summer is over. As sad as this can be, fall gives us lots to look forward to. This fall especially has some awesome stuff to look forward to in the realm of fashion. So whether you’re looking to spice up your class dress or just want to keep up with trends for the weekend, check out these fantastic new looks for fall!
1. Jewelry:

2. Leather and Suede
I am SO excited about this one! While they aren’t the easiest fabrics to maintain, particularly as a college student, for special occasions, there’s nothing like a little bit of leather to make you feel like a total boss. The trick with an edgy material is to keep your silhouettes classic, so that your outfit doesn’t become overwhelming. 3. Mini skirts:
This one is the best for a busy Sewanee girl. The short skirt looks great in class with a sweater or cardigan, or out at night with boots and a t shirt. 4. Blanket Scarves
This one should probably wait until the weather cools down a bit, but I can’t wait. These big, cozy scarves are the best for walking around campus with a cup of your favorite Stirling’s beverage. They can go with pretty much anything, though my personal favorite is the classic jeans and boots look. 5. Loose Cardigans
Everyone loves a big comfy sweater, and this season we have the slightly dressier version of it. These are best worn with something tight, like jeans or leggings.
