Why we love Sylar!
What is your most embarrassing Sewanee story? Freshman year after a Thursday
night pledge mixer, I was pretty drunk in class and I had to run out…I made it… when I
came back my professor let me take the rest of the day off.
If you could relive any Sewanee weekend what would it be and why? There have
been so many great Sewanee weekends but if I had to choose it would be spring party
freshman year. Nothing beats the fence at Fiji Island. I am looking forward to many great
weekends ahead.
What do you love most about being the president of Fiji? It is a true honor to carry on
the tradition of Fiji. Presidency is not always a glorious and it is not always fun, but
knowing I have the support of my chapter makes it all worth it. I would do anything for
my fraternity brothers and I know they would do the same. Plus, I get to hangout with
Hagi.
What has changed the most about you since being at Sewanee? Though I have always
tried to no let opportunity get away, Sewanee has really pushed me to take advantage of
every opportunity it has to offer. One thing I have learned is that if you don’t ask or try
you never know what could be out there, the worst response you are going to get is no.
