This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sewanee chapter.

1. The weird looks when we wear our Chacos and bean boots

They are comfortable!

2. Speed limit is never 20 MPH

That grandma just passed me.

3. Where are all the dogs wandering around?

4. Traffic exists

5. Traffic lights exist

What is this madness??

6. Having access to a TV

7. Pregaming starts later than 7 PM

8. The bar doesn’t close until 3 AM…or later

Doesn’t the music need to shut off by 1 AM??

9. Paying for drinks at a bar

Can’t I just bring my own six-pack?

10. We’re allowed to have glass bottles?

Won’t the cops stop me for having a glass bottle?

11. Not recognizing everyone at the bar

Who are all these people?!

12. Everyone at the bar is around your age or older

Where are the freshmen? Wait…is that a problem?

13. Walking home is not an option

What do you mean…Uber?

14. Pub anyone??

15. And finally… “Hmm…Sewanee…is that in Georgia?”

Take me back to Sewanee!
