10 Thoughts By Freshmen During Rush Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sewanee chapter.

1. “Okay, time to pretend I’m actually a social human being.”

Because Rush Week is the height of discomfort for the socially anxious.

2. “I wonder if these girls are just sucking up to me or if they are actually this nice?”

3. “I could seriously see myself in like 3 of these sororities.

If only you didn’t have to pick just ONE.

4. “This is so uncomfortable, I can’t wait to leave this house.”

5. “I’m returning to (insert sorority) because of the food.”

Let’s be honest, the free food is the most important part.

6. “Thank God house visits are over.”

Nobody prepares you for how overwhelming and utterly exhausting house visits are.

7. Can it just be Shake Day?

Those three days between return house and Shake Day seriously drag on FOREVER.

8.  “I hope I don’t fall through…”

No matter how confident you are, this thought will always run through your head atleast once.

9. “WILL THEY JUST DELIVER THE BID CARDS ALREADY???

The suspense is truly torturous.

10. “I’M SO HAPPY TO BE IN THIS SISTERHOOD!!”

That glorious moment when you realize you are right where you belong.
