This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Seattle U chapter.

One of Seattle University’s biggest events is on its way and after much anticipation; SEAC (Student Events and Activities Council) released this year’s Quadstock 2014 lineup.

Quadstock is an all-day music festival that SU has held annually, hosting big names such as Macklemore and Ivan & Alyosha in the past. This year in particular is a special milestone because it is Quadstock’s 25th anniversary. SEAC launched this year’s lineup on Monday, April 21st, and it looks like it will not disappoint! To prepare you for Quadstock, we have prepared a list of the lineup along with some information on these great artists and songs to jam to before you see them live.

1) COHO

COHO is a local indie alternative-folk band, they has a very loyal following here at Seattle University. This band is composed of Christopher Schaberg (vocals/guitar), Shane Haworth (vocals/guitar), Bradley Haworth (vocals/piano), Laura Germano (vocals/banjo), Zach Myers (vocals/bass), and Danny Giroux (percussion). They describe themselves as “a collective of six far-flung multi-instrumentalist focused on creating the most emotionally expressive music possible.” As the winners of this years Battle of the Bands, COHO has gained a respectful spot on Quadstock’s lineup.

Shelton Harris went on tour with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and is featured in their Same Love music video. He has also toured with many artists including Hoodie Allen and G-Eazy. In an interview with We Out Here Magazine, he said, “Every song I make is just 100% me being me, and I hope that’s something people can relate to.” He is now collaborating with Tyler Dopps, and Harris says that without Dopps’ talent, he would not be where is his right now.

Hey, hi, hello! My name is April and contrary to belief, I was not born in April—but that's okay. I enjoy (many) cups of coffee, '80s romcoms, and film photography. I write about things that I care about, so hopefully you find some interest in them as well.
