In case you somehow haven’t heard, Netflix has finally stepped up its game and added Gilmore Girls to its streamable content. This generation of girls has grown up alongside Rory Gilmore, and often times what she went through was eerily relatable.
Same.
Here are seven things Rory went through that all young women can relate to:
- Beauty can only get you so far in life, and standardized testing seems to have too much power in determining our futures.
- Obtaining and maintaining a decent job is much harder than we were led to believe as children.
3. As soon as we need to look our best, our closet seems to warp into an awful place filled with terrible clothing we’d never buy. Why must life be so cruel??
- There are going to be days when everyone in the world, including yourself, epitomize what is wrong with modern society. All you can do is go to sleep and hope you wake up with a different perspective.
- This goes for friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, study partners, you name it; all relationships we have with the people around us are half effort and half blind hope.
6. Believe it or not, college is actually more about learning than anything else. Crazy, right? Especially considering how much we pay for tuition…
7. No one can ever have their lives completely planned out… Not even the ever-organized Rory Gilmore!
