Grammys 2015: A Recap

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Seattle U chapter.

For those who have been hearing the buzz about The 2015 Grammy Awards, but didn’t want to commit to the 4 hour program, here is your Grammy Awards cheat sheet.

Like all award shows, what really matters is what you walk down the red carpet in; it’s another red carpet to make a statement on, a night of fashion favorites.

Beyonce in a Proenza Schouler gown:

Rihanna in this amazing black suit worn during her performance with Paul McCartney and Kanye:

Kim Kardashian West in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture:

Aside from the looks, there was much to talk about when it came to the artists who took home awards. Sam Smith took home a total for 4 Grammys, including Best New Artist, and Song of the Year for “Stay with Me”, making him the MVP for the night.

Album of the Year went to Beck’s album Morning Phase. Which had the internet googling: Who is Beck? Including Kanye West who almost stuck again. Thanfully this time, Kanye let them finish.

And last but not least, Madonna who is still stealing the show at 56 performed.
