If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

I’d like to be a genie, but I get to grant myself wishes. And I’m also not in a bottle, but maybe a house boat or something.

Who is your celebrity crush and why?

Seth Rogen. Looks good in a suit, but also remember those mutton chops from Freaks and Geeks? Very versatile.

Finish this sentence: I don’t trust people who…

don’t wear socks.

What do you think your patronus would be?

I took a quiz online once that said a crow. Not even a raven, a crow. But I also looked up the characteristics of a french bulldog once to compare myself and I matched maybe a little too well.

What’s a favorite childhood story about yourself?

When I was baby, my parents entered me in a baby race called the diaper derby. I trained for weeks; my parents putting me on a grueling training schedule. Protein shakes, laps around the track; working tirelessly. When the day finally came, I looked around the room and the competition looked tough. Would my training pay off? My parents lined me up with the others and the gun went off. In the distance I saw my dad at the finish line. The family’s pride rested on my little month-old shoulders. I looked around at the other babies all staring into space, not realizing the race has started. This was my chance to take the lead. I started crawling towards Pop, here I go to make the family proud. The other babies weren’t moving, the lead was all mine. And then, in an eruption of cheers, I crossed the finish line. I had done it. I won the diaper derby.

What would the title of your autobiography be and why?

“One Grain of Rice in Ten Pounds of Sauce” Sometimes you just feel so small in a world so large.

What movie/TV/book character do you most strongly identify with and why?

Michael from Zoey101. Just the classic goofy sidekick.

What 3 things would you bring with you to a deserted island?

A turntable because I feel like I’ll have a lot of free time to practice. Two grilled cheeses from Sonic. A really big pack of markers.

What’s the theme song of your life?

Back Home Ballers – Saturday Night Live

What do you think your parents are most proud of you for?

I gave up my dreams of going on American Idol.

What’s your favorite part about living in Seattle?

There are so many hotdogs. There are so many dog dogs. Also in Selah you can’t go anywhere after 10, so it’s pretty cool to be able to eat at 2.

Describe yourself in 5 words:

Thirty, flirty, and thriving. rujealous?

Give us a fun fact about yourself:

When I was put in time out and had to be in my room I tried to put all of my socks on my feet at once.

I'm Skyler. I go to Seattle University in hopes of earning a degree in Creative Writing. I love to discuss and write about LGBTQ politics, fashion, and I spend way too much time scrolling through Tumblr.
