If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? This is more of a super villain power, but I would want to have the power to create untraceable, uncomfortable sensations. Like a constantly-moving itch, or the sound and sensation of a fly buzzing around your face, or an uncomfortably full bladder. It could be used for good though: to drive the power-hungry villains of the world mad in front of millions of people on live TV, for example.

What fictional character do you most strongly identify with? I see so much of myself in Marshall Eriksen from How I Met Your Mother. We both are propelled forward by a huge tidal wave of passion, enthusiasm, and activism, and tempered by more gentle traits like a love for cookie dough and nights spent at home. He sort of bounces around, wildly excited, and at the end of the day settles into being everybody’s grandpa. That’s my essence.

What is a quote that you live by? “I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself.” -D.H. Lawrence

What is a legacy you hope to leave behind? I hope to leave behind the legacy that I deeply understood people. If a person who knew me could say that I made them feel known and important, then I had been the best I could be. Within that, I hope to have been known for a fearless curiosity.
