12 Differences Between Freshman and Senior Year

There are only a few years between Freshman year and Senior year, but a world of differences. 

1. Seeing people from high school while visiting home.

Freshman Year: “OH MY GOSH HI! I missed you so much!” 

Senior Year: “Back away slowly, maybe they didn’t see me.” 

 

2. Getting dressed for class.

Freshman Year: “I have to look cute for the guy in my history class!” 

Senior Year: “Yeah not happening today..”

3. Attending house parties…

Freshman Year: “Where is that party at tonight?!”

 

Senior Year: “Where did all these people come from? This was just suppose to be a pregame!” 

 

4. Studying for midterms….

Freshman Year: ” I have been up all night, back off.”

 

Senior Year: ” Ehhh as long as I pass.”

5. Getting written up by an RA…

Freshman Year: ” Oh my gosh I’ve never been in trouble before! What if my mom finds out?”

 

Senior Year: “LOL, nice try”

 

6. The morning after a party…

Freshman Year: “We are going out tonight again right?!” 

 

Senior Year: “Never drinking again…”

 

7. Getting around Seattle…

Freshman Year: “It’s only ten blocks lets walk” 

 

Senior Year: “Lyft, Uber, Fly Wheel, Night Hawk, anything but walking.” 

8. Seeing someone you hookup with on campus…

Freshman Year: ” HIDE!”

Senior Year: “High five!” 

9. Getting rejected by a crush…

Freshman Year: “This is the worst feeling ever!”

 

Senior Year: ” Your loss buddy, I’m fabulous.” 

10. Meal plan money

Freshman Year: “Money aint no thang”

Senior Year: “Are you serious?! I have to walk all the way home to eat….”  

11 . Watching Netflix

Freshman Year: 24 hours

Senior Year: 7 days a week

 

12. When people ask what you want to do after college.

Freshman Year: “I have no clue.” 

 

Senior Year: ” I have no clue.”
