The hotspot buzz this week goes to The Vagina Monologues, an episodic play put on by SDSU theatre students the weekend of February 10th continuing on through the 12th. Through a series of outrageously funny and heartbreakingly sad monologues, a group of women stress the power of the woman by relating several interesting stories about, well, their vaginas. Their underlying purpose is to display the vagina as a symbol for individuality and women empowerment when facing adversity throughout their lives.
