In case you missed it, athletic clothing has become an everyday wardrobe staple, especially amongst college-aged girls. Whether I’m grabbing coffee, walking across campus to class, or spending the day studying, athleisure is my go-to outfit. In a world full of “hot girl” walkers and pilates “princesses”, constantly wearing athleisure has become incredibly popular and normalized. This being said, I wanted to share some of my (and many other college girls) favorite athleisure brands that you WON’T regret buying from.

  1. CRZ YOGA

I was first introduced to CRZ Yoga through a TikTok video that implied CRZ sold Lululemon-quality products at much lower prices, available on their website and on Amazon. After first watching the video, I went on to order one matching set and was so impressed with the quality that I’ve since gone on to purchase multiple more sets. While their bra and shorts sets might not be the most appropriate option for all-day wear, they’re great for working out in, and they offer a wide variety of other clothing items that’d be better for all-day wear.

  1. Garage Clothing

While the majority of Garage’s products aren’t necessarily meant for working out, I love how they seem to be a perfect mix of everyday casual clothing and slightly sporty. Garage is well-known amongst teenage girls for its “Sleek Scoop Cami Top” (currently available for purchase for $26.95), which many rave about, comparing it to Skims’ high-quality and pricier material.

  1. Free People Movement

Free People Movement, my personal favourite, has a large variety of effortlessly cool everyday athleisure and outdoor wear. While on the slightly pricer side, so many of the items I own from them are constantly in my weekly outfit rotation, especially my “Hot Shot Mini Dress” (currently available for purchase for $60.00). If I had thousands of dollars to drop on clothes, I’d without a doubt go running to the Free People Movement website.

  1. Aerie

Aerie, American Eagle’s sister brand, has an “OFFLINE by Aerie” activewear collection with many cute and relatively affordable picks. I own multiple pairs of their “OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me Crossover Flowy Short” that I pretty much wear on a daily basis, because of how comfortable they are and how flattering the waistband is. They recently launched a variety of cozy fleece jacket options, one of which is their “OFFLINE By Aerie Fluff Love Full Zip Jacket” (currently available for purchase for $88.00), perfect for pairing with athletic wear during the fall and winter.

  1. Aritzia

While I haven’t yet personally purchased from Aritzia, they’re a brand that college girls across the country are consistently wearing, especially their matching workout sets and sweatsuits. Popular for its “buttery soft sweat-wicking fabric”, their “Butter Tumbler Bra Top” is currently available for purchase for $38.00, with a wide variety of matching shorts and leggings options. Aside from workout sets, their “Cozy Sweatfleece Boyfriend Zip Hoodie” (currently available for purchase for $98.00) and “Cozy Sweatfleece Boyfriend Barrel Sweatpant” (currently available for purchase for $78.00) are wardrobe staples for many college girls, especially during the colder months of the year.
