Attention: Article will be even better if T-Swift songs are played while reading

Yes, I’m a born and raised Swifie. I’ve loved T-Swift since I was six-years-old, when I first watched the “Teardrops on My Guitar” music video on MTV. For the past fifteen years, I’ve fangirled over each and every one of her nine albums and 130+ songs. Her music has been there with me through my best and worst moments. When I graduated from high school and was preparing to go away for college, what better song to blast in the car and bawl to than “Never Grow Up?” Or when people called me stupid for having a learning disability, you know I listened to “Mean” and imagined a life where I would succeed and rub it in their faces. And even when my mother battled cancer, Taylor’s relatable “Soon You’ll Get Better” gave me hope and courage. I’ve already planned my wedding to include “Lover” and I’m maybe hoping she’ll somehow hear about my plans and decide to drop in for a surprise visit? Just kidding. Although, that would be pretty spectacular. Ultimately, my happiness, confidence and plain fabulous-ness stems from this same woman and her nine albums. Taylor, I legitimately don’t know what I’d do without you.

So, I’ve compiled a list for all of you out there who haven’t been as dramatically affected by T-Swizzle’s music. Based on typical zodiac sign personality traits, which I totally don’t believe in, I’ve listed a few songs that you might particularly enjoy. But don’t be afraid to listen to more songs or even all of them. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Aries: March 20th – April 19th

Competitive, honest, direct, and an urgency to do things your way. Does that sound right? You take charge in order to prove your strength and ambition, yet you’re also impulsive and hate conforming to society’s expectations. You’re a little bit of a hothead who is easily bored, but you’re quick to fall in love with anyone you find attractive. Here are some Taylor Swift songs just for you:

  • “Gorgeous” – Reputation

  • “Look What You Made Me Do” – Reputation

  • “Dress” – Reputation

  • “Bad Blood” – 1989

  • “Picture To Burn” – Taylor Swift

  • “You Belong With Me” – Fearless

Taurus: April 19th – May 20th

A homebody <3. You love your comfortable routine and hate big changes. You’re persistent, stubborn, dependable and patient. You might be a little hard to talk to sometimes because you aren’t the best at adapting. You will not do anything you don’t want to do. But once you decide to do something, you’re all in. You fall in love slowly and carefully, yet still with strong feelings. Here are the songs for the sometimes reckless, over-indulging tauruses.

  • “Ours” – Speak Now

  • “Stay, Stay, Stay” – Red

  • “this is me trying” – folklore

  • “peace” – folklore

  • “London Boy” – Lover

  • “Fifteen” – Fearless

Gemini: May 20th – June 21st

A charismatic know-it-all with an infectious sense of humor. You could be comfortable being an introvert or extrovert, but you’re afraid of being alone. While geminis are intelligent and creative, they are often afraid of expressing themselves for fear of being misconstrued. You’re a bit of an overthinker and frequently internalize your insecurities. You fall in love fast, but your breakups are messy, yet you’ll make friends anywhere you go.

  • “It’s Nice To Have A Friend” – Lover

  • “White Horse” – Fearless

  • “Sparks Fly” – Speak Now

  • “Delicate” – reputation

  • “Shake It Off” – 1989

  • “gold rush” – evermore

Cancer: June 21st – July 22nd

You’re a sensitive, self-aware individual who is drawn to stability and routine. You are often plagued by grief and pretend you are okay when you’re really not. While cancers will easily forgive, they aren’t ones who will quickly forget. You’re quiet and shy at first but you’re actually deeply romantic, just haunted by nerves and self-doubt. Here are some songs Taylor wrote specifically for you:

  • “happiness” – evermore

  • “Last Kiss” – Speak Now

  • “my tears ricochet” – folklore

  • “Death By A Thousand Cuts” – Lover

  • “All Too Well” – Red

  • “Sad Beautiful Tragic” – Red

Leo: July 22nd – August 22nd

Dazzling, loving and bold. Leos aren’t afraid to be the star of the show. You ooze confidence and perform effortlessly. You trust your instincts, yet you want to stand out and can be a little narcissistic. You have a burning desire to feel important and have others celebrate you. Within romantic relationships, you look for someone that reflects your own strength, sophistication and assertiveness. This is what Taylor has for you:

  • “ME!” – Lover

  • “I Forgot That You Existed” – Lover

  • “22” – Red

  • “The Lucky One” – Red

  • “I Wish You Would” – 1989

  • “…Ready For It? – reputation

Virgo: August 22nd – September 22nd

Let’s talk about attention to detail. Virgos literally embody perfectionism, logic and practicality. You’re probably a bit of a clean freak, introverted and intelligent, with a particular-ness about you. You’re immensely productive, but you want things to be done in your way. Despite your purpose and achievements, you’re actually really modest and don’t need to be acknowledged for your contributions. Virgos are typically pretty rigid and critical and often take a while to fall in love. This is what Taylor has for you:

  • “Begin Again” – Red

  • “champagne problems” – evermore

  • “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” – reputation

  • “A Place In This World” – Taylor Swift

  • “How You Get the Girl” – 1989

  • “I Know Places” – 1989

Libra: September 22nd – October 23rd

Compassionate and empathetic, and possessor of strong opinions. Libras go out of their way to help others, but hate conflict and avoid confrontations. You’re able to consider the perspectives of others, but you’re easily manipulated. Libras are significantly fearful, afraid of the unknown, of themselves and their secrets. You’re immensely emotional and easily hurt, often feeling bad about yourself for extended periods of time. You value beauty and can find it in others, even when they don’t see it themselves. The following are Taylor songs made just for you:

  • “Back To December” – Speak Now

  • “Dear John” – Speak Now

  • “Soon You’ll Get Better” – Lover

  • “New Year’s Day” – reputation

  • “cardigan” – folklore

  • “tolerate it” – evermore

  • “Forever & Always” – Fearless

Scorpio: October 23rd – November 22nd

Alright, you’re a little bit complex. While scorpios are generally people people, they are often difficult to get to know with an exceptionally ruthless view of the world. For you, life is “eat or be eaten.” You’re blunt, unafraid of death, yet fearful of vulnerability. When you fall in love, you’re slow to open up, but when you do, you love absolutely. Not to mention, your flirting skills are otherworldly. Taylor, what do you have for our scorpios?

  • “Blank Space” – 1989

  • “no body, no crime” – evermore

  • “the last great american dynasty” – folklore

  • “mad woman” – folklore

  • “I Think He Knows” – Lover

  • “Sparks Fly” – Speak Now

  • “End Game” – reputation

Sagittarius: November 22nd – December 21st

To put it simply, you’re an explorer. You pick principles, logic and reasoning over feelings and you want to explore the unknown and discover how the world works. Sagittariuses are optimistic, curious, fearless and always ready to tackle the next challenge. Your persistence is infectious, yet possibly reckless, and you don’t believe in keeping it safe. Although you struggle to focus and stick to a regular routine, you’re an open book and embrace love in all its intensity. Taylor?

  • “Fearless” – Fearless

  • “State of Grace” – Red

  • “Speak Now” – Speak Now

  • “Welcome to New York” – 1989

  • “Out of the Woods” – 1989

  • “Long story short” – evermore

Capricorn: December 21st – January 20th

You’ve been an adult since you were a kid. You’re responsible, pragmatic and motivated. Capricorns are natural-born leaders and constantly competing with themselves, yet they are often the loneliest people in the world. You’re fearful of dependency and strive to be completely self-sufficient. You take a while to open up to people and even longer to fall in love. You might be a little awkward and probably struggle to show your feelings at first. However, when you do fall in love, it’s intense and complete, nurturing and gentle. And Taylor, what’s in store for the capricorns?

  • “Call It What You Want” – reputation

  • “Teardrops On My Guitar” – Taylor Swift

  • “Clean” – 1989

  • “The Last Time” – Red

  • “Change” – Fearless

  • “Fifteen” – Fearless

Aquarius: January 19th – February 18th

Okay, so you’re a little bit of an outcast. Maybe you find “normal” to be boring and want to do the complete opposite of what society expects of you. You’re weird and you try to be. Your life is destined to be different than the average. Your nonconformist attitude and free-spirit makes you rebel against authority and anything that embodies conventionality. That’s cool. And Taylor definitely has a lot of songs for that.

  • “You Need To Calm Down” – Lover

  • “I Did Something Bad” – reputation

  • “The Man” – Lover

  • “I Knew You Were Trouble” – Red

  • “cowboy like me” – evermore

  • “Mean” – Speak Now

Pisces: February 18th – March 20th

Last, but never least: the hopeless romantic. Pisces are sensitive and often insecure. You doubt your abilities, specifically your intelligence, but you’re extraordinarily empathetic with an imagination like no other. You fantasize and daydream about living in your favorite romance novel. You’re an exceptional emotional reader and listener, but you struggle to avoid internalizing the emotions and problems of those around you. Your life fluctuates between being alone and being dependent on others.

  • “Lover” – Lover

  • “Daylight” – Lover

  • “Paper Rings” – Lover

  • “Mine” – Speak Now

  • “Enchanted” – Speak Now

  • “Love Story” – Fearless

  • “Everything Has Changed” – Red

  • “You Are In Love” – 1989
