Broncos baseball started off their four-game series against Eastern Michigan with a win at Schott Stadium. Winning 8-2, the Broncos held Eastern Michigan with stellar pitching by Jake Steffens. Although they were down by 1 at the beginning of the game, the Broncos rallied with three run efforts in the second and third inning. Fellow Broncos were there to cheer the team on to victory, including the men’s basketball team and members of the cross-country team. The Broncos continued their winning streak with a win against Eastern Michigan the following day, but unfortunately lost the next two.
