Fun Halloween Themed Drinks to Try at Your Halloween Party

If you’re throwing a Halloween party, attending one, or just gathering with friends for a fun night of scary movies, you’ll be needing some fun drinks! If you’re feeling especially festive this year you might want to try some Halloween inspired drinks for your party, or gathering.

Zombie Brain Hemorrhage (Marie Porter)

Ingredients:

  • Peach Schnapps
  • Creme de Menthe
  • Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Grenadine

Instructions:

  • Pour the Peach Schnapps into a shot glass (about 1/2 full)
  • Pour a splash of Creme de Menthe
  • Pour the Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Pour the Grenadine (will cause a curdling effect on the Bailey’s)

Vampire Kiss Martini (Cooking with Sugar)

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz. Chilled Pinnacle “Whipped” Vodka or Vanilla Vodka, 
  • Strawberry Sundae syrup
  • Plastic vampire teeth as a garnish

Instructions:

  • Rim martini glass with the strawberry syrup 
  • Drizzle some on the inside of the glass as drips
  • Pour vodka into a shaker with ice and shake
  • Strain into prepared martini glass
  • Add vampire teeth

Bride of Frankenstein Cocktail (Pineapple and Coconut)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp seedless blackberry jam 
  • 2 tsp vanilla syrup 
  • 2/3 c good quality vodka 
  • Champagne, Sparkling wine or Prosecco
  • Fresh blackberries on a toothpick for garnish

Instructions:

  • In cocktail shaker stir together jam and vanilla syrup until well mixed 
  • Add ice
  • Add vodka and shake well
  • Strain the mixture evenly in two champagne flutes 
  • Top with prosecco 
  • Garnish with blackberries and serve immediately.

Candy Corn Jello Shots (A Beautiful Mess)

Ingredients:

  • 1 small box orange-flavored Jell-O (3 oz)
  • 3 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk (1/2 of a 14 oz. can)
  • 2 cups water 
  • 1 cup vanilla or cake vodka (add more if you like strong shots) yellow food coloring
  • Tall shot glasses

La Llorona ~ The Weeping Woman ~ (Muy Bueno)

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Pisco Brandy
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1½ tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Crushed ice
  • Dash of Angostoria bitters
  • Dry ice 

Instructions: 

  • In a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice
  • Combine brandy, juices, and sugar
  • Cover, shake vigorously for 15 seconds
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
  • Top with a few drops of bitters
  • Add some dry ice for a spooky effect
